Community woodfire weekend

Clifton Forge, Va. — I spent a hardworking and inspiring weekend with eight fellow potters from the Blue Ridge Potters Guild and Clifton Forge School of the Arts, September 12-13, 2026. Together we fired roughly 200 pieces of functional and ceramic art in a reconstructed kiln on the Cowpasture River in Clifton Forge, Va. Our next community firing will be spring 2027.
